Thinking of the environment

I have been looking for a car for my dad but haven’t been able to find a decent car yet. He wants his car to be new and environmentally friendly and won’t cost him too much to maintain. The best car for him will be a hybrid but I don’t know which one to choose from, as there are so many out at the moment.

So I decided to check as many hybrid cars as I can, and then ask my dad choose the best one. I started off with the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid, it sounded like something my dad will like and also we had a Toyota dealer close to where we lived.

The Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid sounds great, as my dad will only have to plug it into the any domestic mains outlet to full re-charge the battery and it only takes 90 minutes. The Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid has a range of around 15.5 miles purely under battery power as an Electric Vehicle.
When the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid is used in conjunction with the petrol engine, it gives an effective combined cycle emissions of 49 g/km and fuel economy of 134.5mpg. The more I find out about the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid, the more I like it and am very tempted to buy that car.

But as good as it sounds, I still would like to check out all the other hybrid cars from other brands and once I’m satisfied that there’s nothing better, then I’ll’ come back to buy the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid.
