The successful journey of PGCPM session 2011-2012

IMT Ghaziabad has constantly focused on the bigger picture of Management education. It is with this objective that the institute offers participants in its Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Management (PGCPM) with Dual Specialization to help them enhance their professional careers. The PGCPM – a year long course – aims at developing its participants into competent managers with a global perspective .

The dynamics of global business is very much reflected in this is program of IMT-Ghaziabad. .
Classes are held twice a week between 6.30 to 9.30 pm at NIIT Imperia studio, and it also involves two campus visits to IMT Ghaziabad campus.“The PGCPM of IMT Ghaziabad is a great chance for working professionals to broaden their knowledge not only in their respective fields but also sharpen their entrepreneurial or job skills from a strategic point of view,” says Mr. Amit Kumar Bhangchandani, a PGCPM student. Participants must have at least one year of working experience and get to choose from six different specializations that include General Management, Finance (3 courses), Marketing (3 courses), HR (3 courses), Information Technology Management (3 courses) and Operations Management (3 courses). Working people in the early stages of their careers sometimes find themselves stagnating. This IMT Ghaziabad PGCPM course gives them a leg up on to the professional ladder.

“This program is a very well chalked out program for professionals. The dual specialization feature helped me in enhancing my skills in areas that had been esoteric to me,” finds Mr. Varun Hemrajani. “My penchant for strategy was quenched by the three day simulation session held in the IMT Ghaziabad campus. I found the simulation exercise was a flawless replica of the real industry situation.” Each carefully planned exercise helps participants get stronger, more confident in their capabilities backed by sound knowledge.
