Civil Safety Engineering operates a number of confined space training courses, each fully accredited by City and Guilds. These confined space training courses tailor for the diverse nature of risk when working in confined spaces. There are several stipulations for anyone wishing to undertake confined space training. All candidates must be a minimum of sixteen years of age and be medically fit. They must also be exposed to confined spaces in their working environment so our confined space training is integral to the requirements for anyone working in water specific industries.
Our one day confined space training is applicable to anyone who is tasked with working in or around a confined space where risk assessments have been classified as low risk. The qualification itself topics include educating participants in how to prepare to enter a confined space, entering and exiting a confined space, and the correct procedure for the emergency exit of all confined spaces. In short, the Level 2 Award in working in low risk confined spaces: Water focuses on the delegate’s ability to enter and work in confined spaces which have been assessed and designated NC1 within the Water UK Scheme.
