In 1960, the Cardinals made the short move to St. Louis. During this period (1960-87), the club's best run was during the mid-seventies. Since 1988, the Cardinals franchise has been based in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1998, the Arizona Cardinals reached the postseason and advanced to the divisional round with an upset victory at Dallas against the Cowboys.
